Help customers configure furniture for a specific space

A buyer or designer enters the room, dimensions, collection and finish. The site presents a possible set, while sales receives the information needed for a quote — without rebuilding the project from chat messages.

Example screen

From room requirements to a saved configuration

The designer reviews the selected item, finish and set contents in one place. The configuration can be checked before discussing price and sent to sales as a specific project rather than a general preference.

How the decision is made

Each step answers a familiar customer question

The exact steps depend on the range. Keep only the parameters that actually change the model, set or quotation.

  1. What are we furnishing?

The customer selects the room type, purpose and important project constraints.

  2. What will fit?

They enter space dimensions and product sizes that cannot be exceeded.

  3. How should it look?

They compare collections, materials, textures and available colours.

  4. What should be quoted?

They review the set, save the configuration and provide contact details.

What your company prepares

The catalogue starts with product data, not a generic template

An agreed spreadsheet and prepared assets are enough for a first version. System connections, live stock and price calculations should not be disguised with test values.

Products and variants

Collections, models, modules, dimensions, SKUs and permitted combinations.

Images and documents

Photography, angles, textures, drawings, instructions and certificates for product pages.

Configuration rules

Module compatibility, size limits and finish options for each model.

The sales request

Which parameters, products, files and contacts sales should receive after submission.

What sales receives

The enquiry keeps the reasoning behind the customer’s choice

Sales does not have to ask for the collection, dimensions and material again. The exact request contents are agreed before launch and can differ for retail customers, designers and dealers.

What can be shown now and what needs a separate assessment

A standard catalogue and enquiry form can be verified with test data. Scope grows when the result depends on calculations, an external system or interactive visualisation.

Catalogue and saved selection

Collection pages, filters, finish options and request contents can be built and reviewed in the browser.

Visual configurator

An interactive 2D or 3D scene, accurate placement and model preparation are assessed separately.

Live prices and stock

A confirmed source, allowed fields, refresh frequency and unavailable-data behaviour are required.

CRM, ERP and calculation rules

API access, request delivery, dealer terms, discounts and complex formulas require a separate check.

Before you start

Questions to answer before building a furniture catalogue

Can we start with a spreadsheet instead of an ERP?

Yes. A list of collections, models, dimensions, materials and compatibility rules is enough for the first version. Assess a system connection separately after reviewing the screens.

Do we need a photograph of every variant?

Not always. Decide which combinations need their own image and where a material sample and clear description are enough. Do not present a non-existent angle as a real product image.

Can customers arrange furniture in a room?

Yes, but a standard configuration card and an interactive 2D or 3D scene are different scopes. The visualiser and model preparation need a separate assessment.

Will the site calculate an exact price?

Only when the price source and calculation rules are confirmed. Discounts, dealer terms, delivery and complex formulas require a separate check.

What does sales receive after submission?

The agreed project, configuration, finishes, quantity, comment and contact details. CRM or other system delivery depends on an available connection.

Start with the task

Describe how customers choose furniture from your range

List the project type, selection criteria and what sales should receive. The description remains in the project after registration.

After sign-up, the task opens as a draft. The project starts only after you confirm it.
